The Black-billed Magpie (Pica hudsonia) is a striking bird native to western North America, known for its bold black and white plumage with iridescent blue-green highlights on its wings and tail.

 These birds are highly intelligent, belonging to the corvid family, which includes crows and ravens. Black-billed Magpies are omnivorous, feeding on a varied diet of insects, small animals, fruits, and seeds.
